At Silver Oaks Dental in Milton Keynes, MK2 2NX, we warmly welcome patients from Broughton for attentive, private general care. Our ethos is simple: we care about helping you look and feel great. Expect a calm setting, a patient-focused team, and carefully planned care designed around you. From your first hello to your long-term reviews, we focus on comfort, clarity, and results that truly fit your life.

General dentistry looks after everyday oral health. It covers routine check-ups, hygiene visits, early diagnosis, and simple repairs when needed. By seeing you regularly, we can spot small changes early and guide the next best steps. The aim is steady, predictable care that keeps your mouth healthy and your smile confident.
Think of general care as a steady partnership. We help you prevent problems, spot issues early, and choose simple solutions before they grow. Good oral health supports fresh breath, comfortable chewing, and confident social moments. Regular visits also let us tailor advice as life changes, from busy family schedules to new fitness goals or diet shifts. You will always know why we recommend something and how it benefits you.

Your visit is relaxed, thorough, and tailored to you. It typically includes:
Strong prevention keeps treatments minimal and your smile feeling fresh. We focus on habits that last and support you between visits.
We also screen the soft tissues at every review and check your jaw joints and bite. Simple tips, like adjusting brushing angles or choosing the right toothpaste, can make a real difference day to day. Small, consistent steps add up to healthier gums and teeth you can rely on.
When treatment is needed, we keep it conservative and precise.
If something is more complex, we coordinate care within our team so you feel supported from start to finish. Our goal is to protect healthy tooth structure and keep you comfortable.
Most people are suitable for routine general care. We complete an oral health and bite assessment first to plan safely. You may need preliminary care before certain treatments if there is:
Please tell us about any medicines, allergies, or health changes. This helps us plan safely and keep you comfortable throughout care. Your clinician will recommend the best route for dependable, long-term results.
General dental treatments are designed to last well, though they are not permanent. How long they serve you depends on your bite, diet, home care, and reviews. Over time, a filling or bespoke crown may need a polish, repair, or refresh. If you bite your nails, chew hard objects, or grind, longevity can shorten.
If grinding is present, we may recommend a protective night guard after assessment. We will show you simple ways to protect any new work. Regular reviews allow us to refine your home routine and keep everything feeling smooth.
General dentistry supports day-to-day health and conservative improvements. Materials can stain and small repairs can chip, so occasional maintenance is normal. Final suitability and results depend on your enamel, bite, and overall oral health.
Where we use digital planning or preview images, these are guides to support discussion rather than guarantees. Photographs and on-screen visuals help explain choices clearly. They are a helpful guide when you are comparing options and timeframes.
