Each visit begins with a relaxed conversation about your oral health, medical history, and any concerns. We then carry out a careful examination and share what we find in a simple, visual way.
Together we agree a bespoke plan, from routine hygiene to any repairs you may need. Our aim is to help you protect your oral health and feel confident about your smile at every stage.
If treatment is recommended, we outline choices, expected timelines, and fees before we begin. You’ll always have time to consider, ask questions, and decide what feels right for you.

Most people are suitable for routine dental care. At your first visit, your clinician will assess your teeth, gums, and bite and discuss what you’d like to achieve.
If something needs attention before specific treatments, we will plan the right steps to get your mouth healthy and stable. Common reasons to pause or sequence care include:

General dentistry is designed to be durable, not permanent. How long fillings and similar treatments last depends on your bite, oral hygiene, diet, and habits.
You may need occasional polishing, small repairs, or a refresh over time. Everyday habits such as nail biting, opening packets with your teeth, chewing ice, and grinding can shorten longevity.
If you grind, a protective night guard may be advised to help safeguard your teeth and any new work. Regular reviews and hygiene visits help us spot small changes early, which supports the longevity of your teeth and any dental work.

General dentistry aims to preserve and enhance natural teeth in a conservative way. Composite materials can pick up surface stains and may chip with wear. These changes are usually easy to smooth or refresh during maintenance.
Final suitability and results depend on your enamel, bite, and overall oral health, so we plan care only after assessment. Planning images and previews are helpful guides, not guarantees. Digital smile previews offer a helpful glimpse, not a final outcome, and your clinician will guide what is achievable for you.
