General dentistry is the foundation of a confident, healthy smile. We focus on prevention, early detection, and advice that fits your life. With thoughtful appointments and clear explanations, you can protect your oral health with confidence.,Every visit is tailored around your needs and goals. Whether you want fresher breath, stronger teeth, or reassurance about your gum health, we plan care that feels personal and achievable.,We see general dentistry as a partnership. Small, consistent steps make the biggest difference over time. By spotting changes early and guiding your home care, we help you avoid larger treatments and keep your smile feeling fresh. Many patients tell us they enjoy the reassurance of regular reviews and the simple, practical tips they can use straight away.
Routine check-ups to assess your teeth, gums, and bite. When clinically appropriate, we take X-rays for a fuller picture, so we can plan with precision and explain your options clearly.
Thorough scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar that home care cannot reach. This supports gum health, fresh breath, and a brighter smile.
Strong, natural-looking composite repairs to treat decay, preserve function, and blend with your teeth.
Practical guidance on home hygiene, diet, and daily habits, so you can keep your mouth healthy between visits.
If your case needs advanced care, we coordinate timely referrals to trusted colleagues, ensuring your journey stays smooth and joined-up.

Patients value time, clarity, and comfort. At Silver Oaks Dental, appointments are thoughtfully scheduled, giving space to discuss your goals and ask questions. Our approach is gentle and reassuring, with a focus on long-term oral health.
Your treatment plan is bespoke and clearly explained. You will know what to expect, why it helps, and how it supports lasting results. It is all delivered by a warm, skilled team in a welcoming environment close to home.
Continuity matters too. Wherever possible, you will see the same clinician who understands your history and goals. We take time to outline choices, including benefits and limitations, so you can decide at a pace that suits you. Expect unhurried conversations and a next step agreed before you leave.
CBCT Scanner (3D imaging)
When a case needs deeper assessment, our CBCT 3D imaging provides detailed views of your teeth and jaws. This helps us diagnose accurately, plan precisely, and show you clear visuals before treatment begins.
Intraoral Scanner
Digital scans can replace traditional impressions for many treatments. A small handheld wand captures precise 3D images in minutes. This improves comfort, speeds the creation of crowns, aligners, and night guards, and lets you see your mouth on screen.
Our technology supports accuracy while helping your visits feel smooth and relaxed. These digital tools also help us track changes over time. We can compare today’s images with past records and explain what has improved, what needs attention, and how to maintain healthy progress.
Most people are suitable for general dentistry. It is ideal if you want to maintain or improve everyday oral health with check-ups, hygiene care, and timely treatment when needed.
Sometimes we recommend stabilising your oral health first. Common reasons include active decay, inflamed gums, untreated bite issues, or heavy grinding. Your assessment comes first. Your clinician will advise the most appropriate options for long-term results.
General dentistry supports health over time. Restorations such as composite fillings are durable, though not permanent. How long they last varies with your bite, oral hygiene, and daily habits.
Occasional polishing, repair, or a refresh may be needed to keep results looking and functioning well.
Habits that can shorten longevity include nail biting, chewing hard objects, and teeth grinding. If you grind your teeth, a bespoke night guard may be advised to protect your smile.
We will always guide you on simple steps that help your dental work and gums stay in great shape. Regular hygiene visits and good home care work hand in hand. Brushing twice daily and cleaning between teeth with floss or interdental brushes can make a difference.
General dentistry aims for conservative, healthy improvements tailored to you. Composite can stain or chip over time and may need maintenance. Final suitability and outcome depend on your enamel, bite, and overall oral health, confirmed at assessment.
Planning images and previews are there to guide discussion, rather than promise a specific result. Digital smile previews offer a helpful glimpse, not a final outcome. Your clinician will explain what is achievable for you and how we can maintain it together.
We listen first, then plan with you. Expect clear explanations, gentle techniques, and a relaxing environment. We hold ourselves to high standards of accuracy and communication so you feel informed and confident at every step.
From your first call to your final review, our aim is your comfort and clarity. We want every visit to feel calm, caring, and well organised.
