At your first consultation, we take time to listen. Tell us what matters most, from upcoming events to your ideal timeline. We will explain how Invisalign® works, show you your digital scan, and answer every question in plain, friendly language. You set the pace.

Invisalign® is a system of clear, removable aligners that gently guide teeth into a new position. Each aligner is bespoke to your smile and fits closely over your teeth. You wear your aligners daily and change to a new set every one to two weeks, following your dentist’s plan. The gradual movements are carefully mapped for comfort and predictability.
Invisalign® can help with mild to moderate crowding or spacing. It can also address certain bite concerns, including overbites, underbites, and crossbites. Many people choose Invisalign® because it is discreet and easy to live with. You can smile in photos, speak at work, and enjoy daily life with little interruption. When used as advised, aligners blend into your routine and support great hygiene. Because aligners are removable, you can take them out briefly for meals, important meetings, or photos. Then pop them back in to keep your treatment moving as planned.

● Discreet confidence. Clear aligners are barely noticeable in everyday conversations and photos.
● Everyday comfort. Smooth aligners are made to fit closely to your teeth.
● Easy routines. Remove aligners for meals, brushing, and flossing to support good daily care.
● Digital planning. We plan your tooth movements digitally for precision and clarity. You can see an indicative preview of expected movements before you start. Previews guide the journey, not the final outcome.
● Support throughout. Regular review visits and clear home-care guidance help keep treatment on track.
These benefits make Invisalign® a popular choice for busy lives.
You may be suitable if your gums and teeth are healthy and you want to improve alignment or bite concerns. Suitability depends on a full clinical assessment of your bite, teeth, and gums. Sometimes treatment needs to be staged, adjusted, or an alternative approach may be recommended to support long-term stability.
We will always explain the why behind our advice and answer your questions. Your clinician will discuss the most appropriate option for your goals and oral health. If Invisalign® is not the best fit right now, we will outline alternatives and explain why.
Once we agree Invisalign® is right for you, here is how we make the process smooth and clear.
1. Consultation. We discuss your goals and examine your oral health to confirm if Invisalign® is appropriate.
2. Digital records. We use an advanced intraoral scanner to capture precise 3D images in minutes. This avoids traditional impression trays and supports accuracy, comfort, and speed.
3. Planning with precision. Your tooth movements are digitally mapped to create a bespoke series of aligners. Where clinically helpful, our CBCT scanner provides detailed 3D imaging of your teeth and jaws. This added insight can support diagnosis and precise planning for more complex movements.
4. Aligner wear. You will wear your aligners as advised each day and switch to the next set as directed.
5. Reviews and guidance. You will attend regular appointments at our Milton Keynes practice to monitor progress and collect your next aligners. We guide you at each step to keep your treatment comfortable and efficient.
Our team is on hand between visits if you need advice. You will know who to contact and what to do next.
Timing varies with the complexity of tooth movements and how consistently aligners are worn. Your plan will include review visits and any refinements that may be required. We will outline expected stages at your consultation, then keep you updated as treatment progresses. Your dentist will set clear next steps so you always know what is coming.
Aligned teeth can move over time. Retainers are recommended to help maintain your new position. Your dentist will advise on fixed or removable retainers and how often to wear them, especially in the first months. Good daily hygiene, routine dental reviews, and occasional retainer maintenance all support long-term results. We will show you how to clean your retainers and when to check in. Small, steady habits help you enjoy your new smile for years.
● Invisalign® suits many patients, but not every case.
● Outcomes depend on clinical assessment, gum and bone health, and aligner wear.
● Digital previews are indicative and help you visualise the plan. Final results can vary.
● If preparatory care is needed, or if a different treatment would serve you better, we will advise you clearly.
We will always be open about what Invisalign® can and cannot achieve for you.
● Bespoke planning and patient-focused care at every step.
● Digital scanning for comfort, precision, and time saved.
● CBCT imaging available when clinically helpful, supporting accurate diagnostics and planning.
● Clear communication, steady guidance, and a relaxing, modern setting.
