Prompt assessment, clear options, and modern treatment at our Milton Keynes practice.

When urgent dental problems crop up in Fishermead, you want care that feels calm, clear, and dependable. At Silver Oaks Dental in Milton Keynes, we welcome emergency patients from Fishermead and nearby Campbell Park for timely support and carefully planned treatment. Our focus is to ease discomfort, protect your oral health, and guide you with confidence from the first call to your follow-up visit.
From the moment you contact us, our team listens. We note what happened, how you feel, and what matters to you right now. You will be seen at our modern practice in MK2 2NX, where we combine attentive care with advanced technology. Together, we aim to stabilise the situation and help you return to eating, smiling, and sleeping comfortably again.

Emergency dentistry is for issues that should not wait for a routine visit. If you have new or worsening symptoms, it is best to get advice without delay. Typical concerns include:
● Toothache or sensitivity that is increasing or disrupting sleep
● A chipped, fractured, or knocked tooth after a fall or accident
● A lost or broken filling, crown, or veneer
● Swelling, a bad taste, or signs that suggest an infection
● Cuts or injuries to the lips, cheeks, tongue, or gums
Our first goal is to relieve discomfort and protect the affected area. Next, we explain what we see and discuss the best next steps. Suitability for any treatment depends on an in-person assessment, and we will talk you through your options before we proceed. If you are unsure whether your situation is urgent, please call us. We can help you decide on the right next step for your smile and comfort.
If you experience heavy bleeding, significant facial injury, or trouble breathing, seek urgent medical help immediately. For all other dental concerns, our team is here to support you.

When you’re in pain, who treats you matters. Patients from Fishermead choose us because we combine precise diagnosis with a reassuring, patient-first approach.
Bespoke, Patient-Focused Care
We listen first. Your dentist will understand your goals, preferences, and any worries. Care is shaped around you, so you always feel informed and supported.
Precision That Builds Confidence
When needed, our CBCT scanner captures detailed 3D images. This supports accurate diagnosis and carefully planned treatment, helping reduce uncertainty and guide decisions with clarity.
Digital Comfort And Speed
Our intraoral scanner creates accurate digital impressions in minutes. It avoids traditional impression trays in many cases, improving comfort and helping us plan precise repairs like a bespoke crown or onlay when appropriate.
A Relaxing, Modern Environment
We keep appointments calm, respectful, and unhurried. You can expect clear explanations and gentle care from start to finish.
Responsive Access For Urgent Cases
We aim to see emergency patients as soon as possible. Our first priority is easing symptoms while shaping the right plan for lasting results.
Every feature of your visit is designed to offer reassurance and clear direction, so you can make decisions with confidence.
Here is what to expect when you reach out for help:
Quick Triage When You Call
Tell us what happened, where it hurts, and when the problem started. We will arrange the earliest suitable appointment and share any simple steps to help you feel more comfortable until you arrive.
Focused Assessment
Your dentist will examine the area and take any necessary X-rays or digital scans. We will review your medical history and symptoms, then explain what we find in straightforward language.
Immediate Support
We will aim to relieve pain and protect the tooth or soft tissues. This may include smoothing a sharp edge, placing a temporary dressing, securing a loose crown, or prescribing medication if appropriate. The aim is to stabilise the situation and help you feel more at ease.
A Clear Plan
You will leave with tailored advice and a bespoke treatment plan for definitive care, if needed. Any imaging, including CBCT, is used only where clinically appropriate. We will outline timescales, costs, and options, so you know exactly what comes next.
If you have a knocked tooth, keep it moist in milk or saliva and bring it with you. If you have a broken filling or crown, keep any pieces you can find and bring them to your appointment. Simple steps like these can help us plan the most effective repair.
You may benefit from an emergency appointment if you are experiencing:
● Toothache or increasing sensitivity
● A chipped, fractured, loose, or knocked tooth
● A lost or broken filling, crown, or veneer
● Swelling, a bad taste, or a suspected infection
● Soft tissue injuries to the lips, cheeks, tongue, or gums
If you are unsure whether your situation needs urgent care, please contact us. A short call can help you feel reassured and point you in the right direction.
