Vasantha is a General Dental Practitioner and Cosmetic Dentist. She qualified in 2011 from NTR University, India, and later moved to the UK, obtaining her GDC registration in 2015. With over seven years of NHS experience, she has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Aesthetic Dentistry (2022) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Periodontics (2023).
She has a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, Periodontics, and Invisalign® treatments. Known for her caring approach, she takes pride in providing quality patient care. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.

● Toothache: Rinse gently with warm water. Take suitable over-the-counter pain relief as directed on the packet. Avoid very hot, cold, or sugary foods.
● Bleeding: Apply light, steady pressure with clean gauze or a cloth for up to 10 minutes. Keep your head slightly elevated.
● Knocked-out tooth: Hold it by the crown (the white part), not the root. Gently rinse with milk or saline if dirty. Do not scrub. Keep it moist in milk or your saliva. Seek care as soon as possible.
● Chipped or sharp tooth: If safe to do so, cover a sharp edge with dental wax or sugar-free chewing gum to protect your cheek or tongue.
● Swelling: A cold compress on your cheek can help reduce it. Avoid heat on the area.
