If you need urgent dental care near Milton Keynes University Hospital on Standing Way in Eaglestone, we are here to help. Silver Oaks Dental offers prompt, patient-focused Emergency Dentistry in a soothing, modern setting so you feel informed and supported at every step.
We are a private dental practice at 68 Victoria Road, Milton Keynes, MK2 2NX. While we are not based within the hospital, many of our patients live, work, or attend appointments nearby. When something unexpected happens to your teeth or gums, our friendly team will help you feel more comfortable and confident about what happens next.

Emergency Dentistry focuses on easing pain, protecting teeth and gums, and preventing further problems after a sudden issue. Sometimes it follows a toothache that will not settle. It may be a chipped or knocked-out tooth after a fall. It could be a lost filling, a broken crown, or swelling that worries you. Whatever the cause, getting the right care quickly can make a real difference to your comfort and to your long-term dental health.
At Silver Oaks Dental, your emergency visit is centred around you. We take time to listen, understand your symptoms, and carry out a careful assessment. This may include digital X-rays and, where appropriate, advanced imaging. We then share clear findings and provide immediate steps to stabilise the area, with a plan for any follow-up care you may need.
Common reasons people contact us include:
● Persistent or worsening toothache
● A chipped, cracked, or fractured tooth
● A tooth that has been knocked out or loosened after an injury
● A lost or broken filling, crown, or veneer
● Swelling, tenderness, or a suspected infection in the mouth
Suitability for any treatment is always confirmed after a clinical assessment. Our aim is to protect your oral health while helping you feel calmer and more in control.

● Consistent standards. We hold ourselves to high clinical and safety standards across every stage of your care. You can feel confident that we take your wellbeing seriously.
Every emergency is unique, and we tailor our approach to you so your next step always feels clear and manageable.
1. First contact. Call our reception team and tell us what you are experiencing. We will arrange the earliest suitable appointment and offer simple self-care guidance over the phone where helpful.
2. On the day. Your dentist will carry out a focused examination and, if indicated, take digital X-rays or CBCT images to pinpoint the cause. We show you what we see and explain it in everyday language.
3. Stabilise and relieve. We prioritise steps that reduce pain and protect the affected tooth or soft tissues. This may include temporary repairs or other immediate care based on clinical need.
4. Plan the next step. You will receive a clear, bespoke plan for any follow-up treatment and aftercare. If further appointments are advisable, we will schedule them at times that work for you.
From the first call to your follow-up, we keep things simple and supportive so you always know what comes next.
