Emergency dental care is for sudden problems with your teeth or gums that need prompt attention. You might be in significant pain, have a broken or lost filling or crown, or have injured a tooth. Sometimes a tooth has been knocked out or loosened. Sometimes an infection causes swelling or a bad taste.,At Silver Oaks Dental, we focus on three things:
Your concerns come first. We listen closely and tailor your plan around your needs, your lifestyle and your goals. You will feel heard, respected and supported at every stage.
Where appropriate, our CBCT Scanner provides detailed 3D images to help us understand the full picture. This supports accurate diagnosis and precisely planned treatment, so your next steps feel clear and confident.
You will be welcomed into a calm, contemporary space. We work efficiently while taking the time to explain each stage, so you can relax and know what to expect.
Our Intraoral Scanner captures precise digital impressions in minutes. This improves comfort and helps us visualise repairs, such as replacement crowns or onlays, after your emergency assessment.

When you contact us, we will offer simple, sensible steps to protect the area before your visit. These tips can help keep you as comfortable as possible until we see you.
Your clinician will review your symptoms, medical history and the affected area. We may recommend X-rays or 3D imaging to understand what is happening below the surface.
We prioritise easing discomfort and protecting the tooth or soft tissues. This might include smoothing sharp edges, placing a temporary cover or prescribing medication where appropriate.
Your treatment depends on what we find and what is best for you. This may include:
● Repairing a broken tooth or replacing a lost filling, crown or veneer
● Managing an infection to address the source of the problem
● Root canal treatment if the tooth can be saved
● An extraction if a tooth cannot be preserved safely
If a tooth has been knocked out, timely management may improve the chance of saving it. We will explain your options clearly and help you choose a path that feels right.
Once the immediate issue is managed, we will outline any further care that could support long-term stability. This might include a bespoke crown or bridge, or preventive advice to protect your smile. Your plan will be tailored to you.
At every stage, we explain what we are doing and check how you feel. Our goal is simple: to help you feel better, fast, and to protect your smile for the future.
