Choosing where to go in an emergency can feel daunting. Our patients tell us they value:
Bespoke Care In A Relaxing Environment
We listen closely, take time to understand your symptoms and concerns and treat with precision. Comfort comes first, and small details—like a warm welcome and clear next steps—make a big difference.
Clear Communication
You will know what is happening at each stage. We explain what we see, what we recommend and what to expect next, so you can make decisions with confidence.
Modern Diagnostics That Support Accuracy And Comfort
Our CBCT Scanner provides detailed 3D images when clinically appropriate, helping us plan with greater precision. Our Intraoral Scanner captures accurate digital impressions in minutes—comfortable, efficient and helpful for visualising your treatment.
A Patient-Focused Approach To Urgent Care
We prioritise appointments based on clinical need and aim to see you as soon as possible. Whether you are in pain, have a broken tooth or feel worried about a change in your mouth, we will guide you calmly and clearly.
These pillars shape how we care for you from first call to final follow-up.
Knowing what to expect can bring instant reassurance. Your visit will typically follow these steps:
1. First Contact And Triage
Call our Milton Keynes practice and tell us what has happened. We will ask a few focused questions to understand your symptoms, prioritise your appointment and offer simple advice to keep you comfortable while you make your way to us.
2. On Arrival
You will be welcomed by our reception team. Your clinician will take a focused history, examine the area and talk through your symptoms. X-rays or 3D imaging may be advised if they will aid diagnosis and help us plan the most suitable care.
3. Stabilising Treatment
Our first aim is to relieve discomfort and protect the tooth or soft tissues. This may involve smoothing a sharp edge, replacing a lost filling temporarily, placing a protective dressing, draining a localised infection or providing definitive care when suitable on the day. You will always know what we are doing and why.
4. Comfort Throughout
We use gentle techniques and modern approaches to help you feel relaxed and in control. If you need a short break at any point, just let us know.
5. Next Steps
Before you leave, we will share clear guidance on aftercare and any follow-up needed. If further treatment is advisable—such as a bespoke crown, root canal therapy or a review to monitor healing—we will plan this with you and discuss timings, fees and outcomes in a straightforward way.
Every treatment plan is tailored to your clinical needs and personal preferences. Suitability for each option is based on assessment, and we will always prioritise what keeps you comfortable and protects your smile.
Please contact us promptly if you notice any of the following:
● Sudden tooth pain or sensitivity that does not settle
● A chipped, fractured or knocked-out tooth
● A lost or broken filling, crown or veneer that causes discomfort or exposure
● Localised swelling, a suspected infection or an abscess
● Bleeding or soft-tissue injury affecting your gums, tongue or cheeks
Simple Tips While You Contact Us
● Toothache: Keep the area clean with gentle brushing. Over-the-counter pain relief taken as directed may help until your visit.
● Lost filling or crown: Keep the area clean and avoid chewing on that side. Bring any parts with you in a clean container.
● Chipped or fractured tooth: If a sharp edge is irritating your cheek or tongue, cover it with dental wax if available.
● Knocked-out adult tooth: Hold the tooth by the crown, not the root. If clean, gently place it back into the socket and bite softly on a clean cloth. If that is not possible, keep it moist in milk or saline. Call us immediately.
● Swelling or suspected infection: Do not apply heat to the face. Contact us quickly for advice and an appointment.
If you are ever in doubt, please call. Our team will guide you on the safest next step and arrange an appointment according to clinical priority.
